Independent and dependent clauses, coordinating conjunctions, semicolon rules, and the four sentence types (simple, compound, complex, and compound-complex) are tested across a 20-question quiz mixing multiple-choice and true/false formats. Early questions ask students to classify a quoted clause from a given sentence as independent or dependent, middle questions test semicolon and coordinating-conjunction rules as true/false statements, and later questions present a full sentence and ask students to identify its structural type. A letter key for all 20 questions appears at the end; qualify the ambiguous questions noted in the teaching tips before use.
