Here is a ready-to-go middle school famous artist research project for your students in 5th, 6th, 7th, or 8th grade. Each student will choose a famous artist, complete focused research about their life and artistic style, and create an organized project with paragraphs and visuals to share their learning. How to Use: •Print pages 2-13 for each student. •Page 2 has instructions for the project including spots to write due dates and a checklist to keep students on track. You can assign a specific era for students to pick artists from or give them a list of artists. •Page 3 has seven different prompts for students to research. Each student needs to pick at least four prompts to include in their unique project. •Pages 4-6 are graphic organizers for your students to use as they take notes and record their research sources (page 6 is optional). •Pages 7-9 are templates for students to use to write at least four paragraphs about their artist (page 9 is optional).
