Skillsets included in this product are multiplication, division, multi-digit addition and subtraction, measurement, geography, fractions, and word problems. Five of the worksheets will allow your third graders to focus on multiplication and division facts from 0-12. The facts are split into groups of 3, with the final page including all facts 0-12. They’ll use a variety of methods to find the answers to each problem, such as traditional vertical or horizontal equations, solving for the missing variable, and showing their work for word problems. The other five worksheets are divided into additional math concepts and organized by food group. Across each page, your learners will see how and why math is such an integral part of planning and preparing food. This product can be bundled with others (listed below) to create a 9-week summer math review for your third graders who are headed into grade 4. If you need an assessment tool at any point throughout the school year, these worksheets provide just that. Use them at the end of grade 3 or beginning of grade 4 to gauge at what levels your learners are comprehending the material. They also make for a great end of unit assessment during the school year. Creative Writing In this question, the student will be required to write a five to eight sentence paragraph on a question related to the topic. Extension Activities This page is optional for fast finishers. If there are five to ten minutes left at the end of the lesson, the student can choose one of three activities, each one requiring a different skill.
