Step 1: Brainstorm topics to write, based on what you already know. Step 2: A specific writing skill is featured in this activity to give students instruction on how to write. Step 3: Students can review proofreading concepts and practice proper grammar techniques. Step 4: The final step allows students to compile everything they have learned by actually writing on a topic. Aligned to the International Reading Association and National Council of Teachers of English Standards 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 12.
