Bilingual English-Spanish Body Parts word search, scramble and crossword puzzle

I made this bilingual body parts puzzle set for my 1st and 2nd graders during our dual language unit. The kids could name body parts in English but had no idea what words like cabeza, mano, or pie meant in Spanish. So I put together a word search, a word scramble, and a crossword using words like cabeza/head, mano/hand, pie/foot, ojos/eyes, nariz/nose, boca/mouth, orejas/ears, brazo/arm, pierna/leg, and rodilla/knee. Nothing fancy — just puzzles to help the body part vocabulary finally stick in both languages.

The PDF is four pages. Three puzzles plus one answer key page. The word search works well for quiet time after recess or indoor recess. The scramble gets them talking because they argue about whether "pie" means foot or dessert. The crossword I use for partners or as a review. I added a couple simple body outline and face drawings but nothing too busy.

Works for K through 3rd grade. Print and go. Sometimes I have early finishers label three body parts in both languages on a drawing on the back. The kids actually ask for these now.
