Number Recognition Pixel Art - Numbers 0-3

Number Recognition Pixel Art - Numbers 0-3
Math, Early Math, Numbers, Kindergarten, Preschool, Grade 1, Activities

Are you looking for fun activities for practicing number recognition? These pixel art worksheets are perfect for getting your students to practice number identification for the numbers 0-3! Different options for how to use this resource: Cut and paste You can choose to print the colour square pages on white paper. -This is the simplest option, but it will take a lot of colour ink. Or you can choose to print the black line squares pages on colour paper. -This will use a lot less ink, but it will take a little more work to prepare. -You may struggle to find colour paper in all the colours I have used. If you have a problem finding the right colours, you can generally substitute a different colour if you need to. Simply look at the answer key to see what the pictures are and choose an appropriate substitute colour. Colour by number You will only need to print the worksheets and allow the students to colour the squares themselves. Preparation: Worksheets 3 printing options: 1. Full colour - best if you will be able to use all the same colours that I have used. 2. Partial colour – I have left the colours blank. You will need to tell your students what colours to use for each number before they can start the activity . This is best if you need to make some substitutions because you are printing on colour paper and cannot find all the correct colours. 3. Black and white - like with the partial colour version, you will need to tell your students what colours to use for each number before they can start the activity . Squares Pages If you are using this resource as a cut and paste activity . 2 printing options: 1 .Colour squares pages (Print on white paper. Each page will have information telling you what picture it is meant for. Simply give each student a block with the different colour squares along with their worksheet) 2. Black line squares pages (print on colour paper. Each page will have information telling you which picture it is meant for, as well as the recommended colour paper to use, and how many students will be able to get their squares from one page. Cut on the dotted lines and give each student one section of each colour page for the picture they are working on.) Emotions BINGO 3x3
Life Studies, Special Resources, Life Skills, Preschool, Kindergarten, Grade 1, 2, Activities

Understanding and identifying EMOTIONS is an important social skill for children. Some children struggle to understand the wide variety of emotions they, and others feel. This fun BINGO game can help children understand a variety of emotions from common, every day emotions to more complex emotions. Children will have the opportunity to see various facial expressions associated with specific emotions, label the emotions, and decide which emotion they might feel when given a scenario. This BINGO activity has 3 levels, one with common, every day emotions, one with more complex emotions and one with a mix of the two. All levels can be played 4 different ways. 3x3 Boards make it easy to play in a short amount of time. Each board contains all available pictures(put in different locations on each board), limiting frustration. This activity is great for young children or children with special needs who can benefit from a fun way to learn to identify and better understand a wide variety of emotions. Great for small groups OR large groups. For large groups simply print out more boards and be aware that kids will get BINGO at the same time...if they were paying attention :) You can also combine the boards from Set 1, Set 2 and Set 3, and the call cards, and you will have 30 boards. This can be good to do in an inclusion classroom or any classroom where you have mixed abilities.

Math, Early Math, Numbers, Kindergarten, Preschool, Grade 1, Activities

Are you looking for fun activities for practicing number recognition? These pixel art worksheets are perfect for getting your students to practice number identification for the numbers 0-4! Cut on the dotted lines and give each student one section of each colour page for the picture they are working on.)
