Communication Vocabulary Flashcards For Preschool, Montessori, and Kindergarten Bulletin Boards I created these communication vocabulary flashcards to help young children express their needs, feelings, and ideas in a simple and visual way. They work well especially for preschool, Montessori, and kindergarten classrooms, but they’re also helpful at home. All the picture cards inside are easy to understand and designed for children who are still developing speech, have limited language, or need extra support communicating. You can use them on bulletin boards, communication boards, and during small-group activities to encourage everyday real-life communication. I created this resource with very young children in my mind. What’s inside? This resource includes 40+ colorful picture cards with clear images and simple words. The vocabulary focuses on what young children need most during their day, including: Actions: bounce, walk, climb, crawl, spin, and more Emotions: happy, sad, mad, tired, thirsty etc. Questions: who, what, where and more Basic needs & words: yes, no, help, stop, more, finished etc. Objects: ball, toys, numbers, letters (vowels and consonants), toilet etc. People: mommy, daddy, sister, brother, teacher, friends etc. Food Habits: Vegan or Vegetarian Alphabet cards: consonants and vowels grouped separately for easy organization Each card includes a clear picture with one simple word to support understanding and communication.
