This process will help the development and strengthening of children's memory. In this way, visual memory and sequential memory benefit from remembering the sequence of the letters of the alphabet. - Promote cognitive skills: The alphabet learning process will also involve observation, association and visual discrimination. This set of skills will be essential for the overall development of the child's brain. Once they feel confident that they know the word they read, they will open the card to reveal a picture of the word they read. When to Use: Literacy Center - Students can work independently or with a partner to read these words Morning Tub or Basket - The cards can be placed in a morning bin for students to work on as students arrive to class.
