Whether it’s a classic quote or a cheeky one that might just make Grandma snort-laugh, these pages bring a little extra spice (and we’re not just talking pumpkin). Perfect for classrooms or at-home holiday fun, these pages are like the mashed potatoes of activities, everybody wants more. The quotes add a splash of Thanksgiving spirit, while the coloring gives kids (and grown-ups who can’t resist) a chance to unwind and get creative. Honor our heroes with some serious color power through our Veteran’s Day Coloring Pages! These pages are the perfect way to salute veterans while showing off your artistic side. We’re talking about an entire lineup of patriotic scenes ready for your crayons, colored pencils, or whatever colorful medium you can dig out of your art drawer. Think waving flags, majestic bald eagles (who obviously have important eagle business), and soldiers that stand as proud as a kid who just colored inside the lines. This isn’t just about coloring; it’s about celebrating the bravery and dedication of those who serve, no boot camp required! Just pick a page, grab some red, white, and blue, and start creating. And if you feel like giving that eagle some rainbow feathers or putting a pair of polka-dot boots on a soldier, well, go for it. This is your chance to salute our veterans with a splash of creativity (and zero push-ups). Perfect for classrooms, homes, or anyone who needs a relaxing moment of patriotic zen, these coloring pages make honoring our vets both meaningful and fun. When you’re done, hang it up proudly! It’s the least we can do to say "thank you" with a side of color. Pdf file includes 6 pages. Enjoy!

Watermelon Seed Counting & Number Order (0–12)

Watermelon Seed Counting & Number Order (0–12)
Common Core, Health, P.E. & Health, Spring, Seasons, Holiday & Seasonal, Summer, Kindergarten, Preschool, Grade 1, Coloring Pages, Worksheets, Worksheets & Printables

Watermelon Seed Counting & Number Order (0–12) This is an easy summer-themed activity (but doesn't have to be used only in the summer), for counting practice that also fits a healthy eating or fruit unit. Students work one page at a time: they look at the watermelon slice, count the seeds, and circle the matching number. The pages cover 0–12, so you can pull only the range you need (0–5 for beginners, 0–10 for most learners, and 11–12 as an extension). Each page includes a short routine that helps kids stay independent: students color the numbers, trace the words “watermelon seeds,” and then read those words out loud. It’s simple, but it adds extra fine-motor practice and a little print awareness without needing additional materials. This is a perfect "National Nutrition Month" activity as well! In case you didn't know this, March is National Nutrition Month. For a hands-on option, there’s a cut-and-order page where students cut out the watermelon wedges and place them in number order (0–10). This is a nice choice for math tubs, centers, or small group time—especially for students who need to move while they learn. I also included a quick bonus page called “What Makes Watermelon So Healthy?” with short statements and writing lines. It’s a small nutrition connection that works well during summer school, end-of-year themes, or anytime you’re talking about fruits and healthy choices. Inside you’ll find: counting pages (0–12), tracing + read-aloud prompt, a cut-and-order sequencing activity, and a healthy watermelon bonus page. Turn Thanksgiving nostalgia into a creative masterpiece with the A Special Thanksgiving Memory Writing Prompt! This activity invites kids to stroll down memory lane (or at least last year’s kitchen chaos) to write and draw about their favorite Thanksgiving moment. Whether it’s Grandma’s famous pumpkin pie, a hilarious turkey mishap, or the time Uncle Joe fell asleep mid-sentence, no memory is too big or small to make the cut. First, students will put their storytelling hats on, probably stretchy ones to accommodate post-Thanksgiving feast bellies, and write about a memory that makes them smile, laugh, or even drool a little. Was it the parade, a backyard football game, or sneaking the first bite of dessert? This writing prompt gets their creative juices flowing faster than cranberry sauce out of a can. Once the words are on the page, it’s time to bring the memory to life with a colorful drawing. Turkeys with personality, pies with sparkle, and family portraits (possibly featuring stick figures) turn the story into a visual masterpiece. This activity isn’t just fun, it’s a great way for kids to practice descriptive writing and reflect on what makes Thanksgiving truly special. Bonus: it’s calorie-free, but just as satisfying as a second helping of stuffing! Enjoy!

Get ready to gobble up some creativity with the Thanksgiving Traditions Writing Prompt! This fun and festive activity gets kids thinking about what makes their Thanksgiving celebrations uniquely theirs, whether it’s a feast fit for royalty or a day spent dodging burnt stuffing disasters. Writing and drawing take center stage in this perfect blend of reflection and hilarity. First, students will dive into their family’s traditions. Do they watch football with a side of pie? Go on a turkey trot that’s more “stroll” than “run”? Or perhaps their family’s tradition involves grandma’s famous sweet potato casserole (with a marshmallow topping so high it needs its own zip code). Kids will craft their best descriptive writing, sharing the quirks, laughs, and delicious details of their Thanksgiving Day. Next comes the artistic twist! Students will illustrate their favorite tradition. Whether it’s a turkey-shaped centerpiece, a chaotic kitchen scene, or Uncle Bob snoozing in front of the TV with pumpkin pie crumbs, these drawings bring their stories to life. This activity isn’t just about celebrating Thanksgiving traditions, it’s about discovering what makes the holiday truly special: food, family, and enough laughs to stuff your heart as full as your plate! Enjoy!
