Acorn Coloring Pages for Kids - 20 Autumn Coloring Sheets
Art, Creative Arts, Fall, Seasons, Holiday & Seasonal, Kindergarten, Grade 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, Coloring Pages, Worksheets, Worksheets & Printables
Twenty acorn coloring pages, printed and stapled, is one tidy fall art center. That's what this set is - a short file for teachers who want the autumn theme without another eighty-page PDF in the drive. What's Included 20 printable coloring designs in a 24-page PDF Single acorns, acorns with oak leaves, and patterned acorn designs with scales to color separately A name and class cover page for each child's set A coloring tips page students can follow on their own How Teachers Use It a fall art center for the first month of school morning work in the weeks the weather turns fine motor practice for PreK and kindergarten hands a follow-up to a nature walk, matched against the acorns the class brings back take-home pages for a long weekend Why You'll Love It Small sets get used. Eighty-page files sit unopened in a folder while you photocopy the same two sheets over and over, but twenty pages is a stack you can actually print, staple and put on the shelf. Every one of these acorn coloring pages fills the page too - no thumbnail-sized picture floating in white space, which is the thing that makes kids finish in ninety seconds and ask for another. The patterned acorns are the ones my class fights over. One girl spent three center rotations on a single page and would not let anyone else touch it. Printing Letter size, black and white, printed at 100 percent with no scaling. Plain copy paper is fine for crayon and pencil. For a bulletin board, run the fall coloring pages you plan to display on card stock so the marker stays put. This resource is for personal and educational classroom use. It is not licensed for commercial use or resale.

Groundhog Day Extreme Difficulty Dot-to-Dot / Connect the Dots
Holiday & Seasonal, February, Months, Math, Grade 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, Worksheets & Printables, Worksheets, Dot To Dots
Connect all the dots to complete the scene of Punxsutawney Phil on Ground Hog Day. This fun and challenging activity will keep your students entertained, and will help them improve their fine motor skills, determination, and patience. It will also help young elementary school kids further familiarize themselves with numbers. The first page contains the dot-to-dot puzzle. The second page contains the answer key. On the third page you will find instructions for the dot-to-dot. In this dot-to-dot, students are asked to draw in additional items after they've completed the puzzle. If they believe winter will continue for 6 more weeks, the students will draw a sun and a shadow. If they believe spring has arrived, they will draw clouds in the sky, and flowers in the grass. Punxsutawney Phil is the ground hog illustrated in the dot-to-dot. This name comes from Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. Ground Hog day is February 2 of every year. If you want your kids to make a prediction about the event, be sure to hand them this dot-to-dot to draw on before the day arrives! For best results, print on 8.5x11 letter-sized paper. Happy Groundhog Day!

Kids will love giving their turkey some personality, will it be a rainbow turkey? A camo turkey? A “stuck in glitter glue” turkey? The possibilities are endless! With pre-drawn templates, all they need to do is add their artistic flair, snip with safety scissors (preferably supervised), and assemble their feathered friend. Bonus: No actual turkeys were harmed in the making of this craft. Perfect for classrooms, homeschooling, or keeping the kids busy while you desperately try not to burn the stuffing, this activity is fun, easy to prep, and guaranteed to keep the giggles going. Whether your turkey ends up looking like a masterpiece or like it’s had a long flight south, it’s all part of the charm. Grab those crayons and glue sticks, it’s time to create the turkey of your dreams (and keep tiny hands away from the dessert table for at least 15 minutes)! Enjoy!
