Do your students get bored by phonics drills? Do you have beginning readers who sound out words well, but do not understand what they read? Phonics & Early Literacy With Themed Story Builders will connect the dots between mechanical decoding and creating a love for books and reading! 39 pages of the most complete literacy program curriculum for Kindergarten through 1st and 2nd grade. The program is rooted in the Science of Reading offers a unique method for teaching phonics skills through a new way of creating stories. This program also provides the student opportunities to develop vocabulary, syntax and comprehension while expressing his/her own creativity and imagination. Constrained Narrative Architecture (CNA) Method not only moves students beyond rote memorization when learning how to decode word lists, but also teaches students how to build themed stories using the newly-acquired phonics skills. Once students have created a complete themed story, they will have an understanding of the phonics rules used in the story, plus vocabulary, syntax and comprehension. What You're Getting with This Resource Without Preparation That Has An Immediate Impact on Teaching!? PHASE ONE: Theoretical Foundations & Core Content for the Teacher- This guide provides an educator with an understanding of the neuroscience behind our methodology. The educator will learn the "why" of Orthographic Mapping, Cognitive Load Theory, Narrative Scaffolding, and other elements to become a more experienced and knowledgeable teacher. PHASE TWO: Student Workbook- The student workbook consists of 10 fun thematic worksheets and each worksheet will provide the student with a story background that aligns to the specific sequential skill provided on the worksheet, and offers the student an adventure in phonics. PHASE THREE: Teacher Resource Package- The teacher resource package consists of pedagogical diagrams, full comprehensive answer key, and a teacher implementation guide with pacing suggestions. The 10 Themed Adventure Worksheets Cover the Following Skills in a Sequence: 1. The Alpine Forest (Short Vowels & CVC Words) 2. Deep Sea Discovery (Consonant Digraphs; sh, ch, th, wh) 3. The Clockwork City (Initial Consonant Blends: L, R, S) 4. Dino-Valley Dig (CVCe Words- “Magic e”) 5. Starlight Space Station (Long Vowel Teams- ai, ee, ea, oa, ue) 6. The Whispering Willow Farm (R-Controlled Vowels- ar, er, ir, or, ur) 7. The Weather Wizards (Diphthongs; ou, ow, oi, oy) 8. The Great Mountain Train (Hard/Soft 'c'/ 'g') 9. The Midnight Toy Shop (Syllable Segmentation) 10. The Enchanted Castle (Cumulative Review/Creative Story Building) This is ideal for large group instruction, small group intervention, structured literacy centers, or an effective homeschool phonics program. It will stop the continual slaughter of expected reading enjoyment and create skilled independent readers now! Search for: phonics programs, science of reading, early literacy, kindergarten reading programs, first grade phonics programs, second grade literacy programs, decodable activities, reading intervention programs, story building worksheets, fill-in-the-blank worksheets, structured literacy center materials, homeschool phonics programs, constant vowel, constant e, constant combination sounds, and constant blends of vowel sounds. The reason why parents and schools are happy is because the curriculum is based on scientific principles, known as the "Science of Reading." This means that the curriculum teaches children to read the right way and progresses from the recognition of the individual sounds to being able to read smoothly and understand what they are reading. Phonics becomes fun instead of boring since this curriculum substitutes the traditional rote phonics drills with engaging themed activities. Children become so involved in creating an imaginative story with dinosaurs or by creating a real-life story about a space station that they do not even realize they are really learning important phonics skills. True comprehension of what to read is developed because this resource requires students to select the word that completes a sentence so that it will make sense. This develops the child’s ability to read for meaning as opposed to simply reading out loud. This resource is designed to be easily differentiated as the teacher’s guide contains suggestions for helping struggling readers (such as those with dyslexia) and those working at an advanced level, making it suitable for all students in a diverse classroom or homeschool environment. This resource is comprehensive and ready to be implemented right away, as it includes not only the worksheets that are used in the program, but also has a complete teacher’s guide, student activities to use with the worksheets, and an answer key. Everything you need! Target Audience Review: According to the explicit scope and sequencing outlined on pages 7 & 8 that outline students working through CVC words all the way to multisyllabic words, the following summarizes how this PDF has been developed for: - Primary Target Students: Kindergarten (approx. age 5) - 1st Grade (approx. age 6) and 2nd grade (approx. age 7). - Primary Buyers: K-2 Classroom Teachers, Home School Parents, Literacy Specialists, Reading Interventionists and Tutors. Discover the wonders of early literacy with "The Scribe's Quest: A Kinesthetic Alphabet Adventure". An interactive digital workbook for preschool children ages 3-5. This 40-page workbook will turn what would ordinarily be a tedious task of practicing handwriting into a fun-filled adventure of tracing each letter of the alphabet. The combination of Montessori-style kinesthetic learning and a narrative-based approach to letter formation will allow preschool children to develop fine motor skills, orthographic mapping along with recognition of the letters throughout the entire alphabet. Teachers and parents who use this book will receive guidance and important information related to child hand development; narrative-based letter formation techniques; multi-sensory feedback loops; real-world examples of implementation; printable worksheets on how to create basic letter strokes and letters such as A, B, C, S, T, O; pictorial diagrams for teaching strokes; and district-approved teacher rubrics for evaluating student performance. This book will take young children away from rote memorization of letters by providing a varied approach to developing confidence, precision, and a lifelong love of learning using imaginative quests that turn the letters into mountains, rivers, or shields. This resource is excellent for early literacy programs, preschool handwriting activities, kinesthetic alphabet activities, and fine motor development activities that use a narrative format. Download your copy today as a printable PDF and help your child explore the world of literacy! Why Parents/Schools Like It: Anxiety Reduction Through Storytelling: Abstract tracing is turned into exciting experiences with the use of stories; for example, "Climbing" a mountain or the letter "A" instead of an "upside down mountain", thereby taking away performance-related anxiety and improving the emotional memory attached to a narrative through narrative transportation techniques. Developmentally Appropriate & Multi-Sensory Approach: Supports the development of preschool hand function via proximal to distal development, the use of haptic feedback and rhythmic chants for full use of hand function, and provides a color-coding anchor for tactile learning and effectiveness. Demonstration of Effectiveness via Case Studies: Evidence of real improvements, e.g., a 60% increase for impulsive learners, through practical interventions that address diverse challenges e.g., low tone and rushing. Comprehensive Resources to Facilitate Implementation: Includes supporting materials, i.e., teacher guides, visual diagrams, stroke verification rubrics, and readily adaptable worksheets, allowing teachers to save time while increasing the confidence of the students. Transforms Literacy into Discovery: Adheres to the principles of the Montessori method by transforming individual drill work into collaborative adventures for developing proprioception, grip development, and lifelong literacy. Students by Age Level / Class Group: After assessing the entire PDF, with special attention to the developmental physiology content (such as motor control from proximal to distal, and holding a pencil correctly) age appropriate stories, the use of multiple senses (VAKT) and using case studies with children ages 3-5 with different types of needs (such as children who are impulsive or anxious learners), this workbook can be used with: Preschool Children (ages 3-5) - A great resource to help young preschool age children in Pre-K and nursery programs learn how to trace letters of the alphabet without having to be precise, allowing preschoolers who do not have carpal bone ossification or developing grip to succeed in developing their skills. Homeschool Early Childhood Programs - The ideal program for parents who are providing early literacy instruction at home, using warm up activities, air tracing and rainbow writing to build low muscle tone and/or high energy. Special Needs & Remedial Literacy Groups - A great resource for preschoolers with physical or behavioral needs (hypotonia, impulsive or anxious) using methods such as tracing on vertical surfaces and using rhythmic chant. Pre-K Classroom Setting Integration - A great tool for educators working with small or large groups to collect information about student progress in fine motor and phonemic awareness through group observation logs, rubrics and posters to assist and guide instructional practices. Keywords: Entrepreneurship, Business Plan, High School Business, CTE, Project-Based Learning, Shark Tank Project, Financial Literacy, Market Research, Student Workbook, Teacher Guide, Rubric, Differentiated Instruction, No Prep, DECA, FBLA. Why Do Parents/Schools Appreciate It? Real World Skill Development; The curriculum focuses not only on theoretical knowledge but also emphasizes developing real-world skills that students will use throughout their future career paths (Financial, Critical Thinking and Problem Solving, Professional Communication). Students will also develop hands-on skills through the completion of projects and activities within the curriculum. Engagement And Project Based Learning; Rather than memorizing words and definitions, students will create projects that allow them to connect theory to practice. The "Shark Tank" format allows students to be creative and take responsibility for their own learning. All-Inclusive And Easy To Use; The curriculum includes: lesson plans, worksheets, visual aids, answer keys, pacing guides and rubrics. This saves teachers an enormous amount of time when they begin implementing the curriculum. Preparation For Future College And Career Paths; The use of professional terminology and the curriculum content aligns with the expectations of colleges and universities, and prepares students for their future career path. All Learning Styles Are Accommodated; All students have a chance to get engaged in learning activities using differentiated strategies that provide support for all learners (struggling and advanced) to be engaged in meaningful learning and challenged at their appropriate level. The target audience for the Student Classes is Urban youth (ages 11-21) who are predominantly from lower-income households, and may possess limited life experience with regards to words. These individuals also have a higher likelihood of becoming entrepreneurs as a result of participating in activities that support entrepreneurship, such as an Entrepreneurship Program, or other business education opportunities. This presents a great opportunity for students enrolled in high school and post-secondary to gain knowledge about entrepreneurship as well as develop the skills necessary to become successful entrepreneurs through exposure, exposure to real-world applications and experiences, and actively participating in entrepreneurial-related programs. Our ultimate goal is to create a pathway for students to learn and implement their own ideas in order to become successful entrepreneurs; therefore, we believe there is a need for these target audiences. Creating and expanding these audiences will provide access to unique learning experiences, real-life situations and provide valuable business and entrepreneurship information to them (which can positively impact the economic condition of the community). Each of the components in this package features relevant supportive research along with fun, engaging, and easy-to-use role-play simulations and seven engaging student worksheets that address the most important life skills our students need, including developing empathy; resolving conflict; practicing active listening; decoding non-verbal cues; navigating peer pressure; providing genuine apologies; and displaying sportsmanship. This curriculum is perfect for teachers in elementary schools, counselors, homeschoolers, and out-of-school-program providers. Included in this 33-page Curriculum are the following components and resources: Phase 1: The Core Theory behind Affective, Cognitive, and Compassionate Empathy/ Supporting Material for Role Playing Phase 2: Seven Printable Student Worksheets with Real-Life Role-Playing Scenarios (Decoding Non-Verbal Cues, The Empathy Bridge, I Statement Architect, Active Listening, Peer Pressure Navigator, Apology Blueprint, Sportsmanship & Fair Play) Phase 3: Curriculum Guides, Teachers Visuals, Implementation Guide, and Answer Key This no-prep resource is designed to provide students with a real-world opportunity to transform abstract concepts into experiential learning through safe role-play and mapping experiential empathy. Therefore, all upper elementary-aged children (8-12) will develop emotional intelligence by reducing the tendency to exhibit hostile attribution bias, and practice prosocial behaviors in a low-stakes learning environment. Immediate digital download is available, and the Curriculum may be easily printed and used immediately or utilized through Google Classroom. Why Schools & Parents are Successful: Both research and classrooms prove this method produces results. The basis for these materials is experiential learning theory, mirror neuron studies, and restorative practice; there is measurable growth in empathy and resolving conflicts. You will find many ready-to-use worksheets, role-play scripts, and teacher guides to help you provide instant lessons that save you hours of planning for your classroom. This is an effective method to help your son or daughter become more emotionally intelligent, eliminate hostile attribution bias, and help them develop real-life scripts for dealing with peer pressure, making apologies, and engaging in fair play. Use this method for the whole classroom or in small groups or during counseling, and it will include different learners, multi-age groups and students with neuro-diversity. Many parents report that their children demonstrate newfound positivebehaviour at home, and schools have successfully adopted this curriculum to reduce relational aggression and meet CASEL standards. Intended target audience: Grades 3 - 6 (approximately 8 to 12 years old) are referenced in every chapter and case study/worksheet in this curriculum as being appropriate for that age range and developmental level. The other target ages of K - 2 will not be appropriate due to more advanced cognitive requirements (the second-order Theory of Mind, perspective-taking, and restorative language frameworks) and to Grades 7+ (middle school) students for their focus on upper elementary social dynamics (recess exclusion, group projects, rumor spreading, sportsmanship). Mindfulness for Exam Stress – Focused Attention Worksheets

Mindfulness for Exam Stress – Focused Attention Worksheets
Life Skills, Special Resources, Social Emotional Learning (SEL), Social Skills, Special Education Needs (SEN), Speech Therapy, STEM, Resources for Teachers, Classroom Management, Community Building, Grade 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, Worksheets & Printables, Workbooks, Worksheets, Word Searches, Teacher Tools, Assessments, Lesson Plans, Presentations, Quizzes and Tests, Tests

A complete 40-page workbook to promote the use of mindfulness and learn how to manage exam stress using neuroscience-based methods. This workbook includes clear theoretical concepts (e.g., "Amygdala Hijacking", "Working Memory Bottleneck", "Default Mode Network versus Task Positive Network") paired with a total of 10 student worksheets, 3 visually appealing colored models for use throughout the course, an answer key that shows all answers for the worksheets and a teacher guide to implementation. In addition to theory, there are practical tools to help the student manage their stress level and perform well on assessments. Practical tools include: Cognitive Defusion (to eliminate the "failure script" you tell yourself), using Somatic Mapping and micro-interventions (e.g., Physiological Sigh, 5-4-3-2-1 Grounding, Box Breathing), using the POP (Pause, Observe, Proceed) method to eliminate "blanks" on assessments, utilizing pre-test mental rehearsal and post-test decompression exercises. This workbook is perfect for use in the classroom, individual counseling sessions, study skills programs, or home schooling. It is available for immediate digital download, and can be printed from your computer or used in your digital course materials with no preparation needed. These strategies have been researched and proven to effectively lower levels of test anxiety and provide access to your working memory when under pressure to perform. Reasons Parents and Schools Love this Product: Science-based methods that help students calm themselves when they take exams through teaching them how to control their brains instead of just telling them to calm themselves down. No preparation required on the part of teachers with regard to having materials like worksheets, visuals, answer keys, and an implementation guide to use immediately in their classrooms or with students who need support. Helps develop true resilience by teaching students ways to cope with anxiety over a lifetime rather than relying on temporary motivation techniques. All micro-interventions available through this product can be done without being seen or heard, therefore making it more conducive to use during exam time. Very easy for both parents and counselors to understand how to use the micro-interventions in a way that they will get maximum benefit from doing so; great for SEL programs, study skills classes, or using at home. Intended Readers : The target audience for this resource is students who belong to the ages of 12-16 (Grades 7-10). The research case studies were conducted with 7th grade (ADHD/test anxiety), 8th grade, 9th grade and 10th grade (AP Biology) students. The resource sections of the Teacher Implementation Guide focus on the students themselves as they relate to their neurodevelopmental stage (middle and early high school). This resource is perfect for middle school (Grades 7-8) and early high school (Grades 9-10) students, who are preparing for any number of major exams, standardized exams and high stakes assessments (i.e., any subject). Not intended for elementary students (too difficult) or late high school/college students (the language and examples were written specifically for the adolescent population). Dyslexia-Friendly Visual Phonics Decoding

Dyslexia-Friendly Visual Phonics Decoding
Classroom Management, Resources for Teachers, Community Building, Life Skills, Special Resources, Social Emotional Learning (SEL), Social Skills, Special Education Needs (SEN), Speech Therapy, Science, Kindergarten, Preschool, Grade 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, Worksheets & Printables, Workbooks, Worksheets, Word Searches, Teacher Tools, Lesson Plans, Quizzes and Tests, Quizzes, Tests, Assessments

If your students have difficulty with b/d reversals, visual crowding, or reading anxiety, phonics worksheets often do not work for kids who are neurodivergent because they create a cognitive overload situation. The Visual Phonics Decoding Program is a complete no-frills paradigm shift in reading interventions. Using the proprietary Visuo-Phonological Anchor Model (VPAM), this program creates a connection between auditory processing and the visual-spatial pathways, enabling students (first, second and third graders) to develop automaticity when decoding. The Visual Phonics Decoding packet also follows the principles of the Science of Reading and the cognitive principle of Orthographic Mapping and removes unnecessary visual distractions and replaces them with structured visual anchors. What’s Being Offered In Our 25 Page Complete PDF? Educator Theory and Implementation Manual: A deep dive into the Neurological Structure of Dyslexic Reading, Double-Deficit Hypothesis, and Orthographic Mapping with practical application chapters. Actual Case Studies with Practical Application: Profiles to show how to use these methods with Early Elementary School-Aged Children. Intervention Worksheet Series: Intervention worksheets have been developed utilizing Typographic Grounding, Chromatic Categorization and Spatial Bounding principles. Medial Short Vowels (CVC orthography), Consonant Digraphs (sh, ch, th, wh, ck), Initial Consonant Blends. Teacher Reference Materials/Visual Aids: Contains Visual Aids for Cognitive Orthographic Mapping Protocol and the anatomy of a Dyslexic Friendly Worksheet. Complete Answer Keys and Formative Assessment Protocols. Great For Special Education (SPED) Tier II and Tier III Reading Intervention, Home Schooling & Orton Gillingham Compatible Teaching Methods. Help struggling readers to stop guessing and to have the confidence to code words correctly using decoding! Reasons that Parents/Schools Appreciate It: Elimination of Visual Clutter: Heavy bottom, sans serif fonts, and greater spacing are used strategically to help identify and prevent visual representation of b, d, p, q from being represented as flipping or floating through space. Working Memory Limitations are Bypassed: Students are able to visually lock into a vowel team or digraph without being overwhelmed by using the use of Chromatic Anchor System and bounding boxes. No Fluff & No Distractions: All worksheets were specifically created to conserve as much of a dyslexic child's cognitive energy as possible. Therefore, no clip art, decorative art, or unnecessary instructions are contained to help conserve any cognitive energy from teaching a child to read. Creates Teacher and Parent Power: Also, all worksheets have a clear and complete "Educator Rationales" so parents and teachers can better understand the rationale and methodology for teaching their children. Gives Children the opportunity to Create True Orthographic Mapping: Children are prevented from memorizing and guessing from the visual image or picture, therefore, they are developing the skills to accurately map sounds to letters, which is the basis for long-term efficiency when it comes to reading. Target Audiences: Identify your target audience based on the curriculum's own Tiered Decoding Progression Model (pg. 22) and Introduction (pg. 1). Target Specifically: Grade Levels: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Audience: Students with a diagnosis of Dyslexia, students exhibiting signs of reading anxiety, children who are guessing at reading, children struggling with traditional written Phonics, as well as neurodivergent children from all backgrounds. Proprioceptive Power-Ups: A Gamified Physical Therapy & Sensory

Proprioceptive Power-Ups: A Gamified Physical Therapy & Sensory
Research, Resources for Teachers, Classroom Management, Community Building, Special Resources, Life Skills, Social Emotional Learning (SEL), Social Skills, Special Education Needs (SEN), Speech Therapy, Grade 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, Worksheets & Printables, Workbooks, Worksheets, Word Searches, Teacher Tools, Assessments, Graphic Organizers, Lesson Plans, Presentations, Outlines

With Proprioceptive Power-Ups, you can turn dysregulated classrooms into focused learners. This complete, evidence-based, gamified sensory regulation program takes ‘heavy work’ and transforms it into new fun, student-led Power-Ups. The 27-page digital PDF resource is designed to provide occupational therapy, physical therapy, and real-world classroom viability for students in kindergarten through eighth grade. Using Sensory Integration Theory, Self-Determination Theory (SDT), and micro-learning protocols, Proprioceptive Power-Ups provide sensory seekers with 3-5 minute ‘bursts’ of proprioceptive and vestibular input that calm those under-responding to sensations at the same time dramatically improving attention, motor planning skills, emotional regulation, and other important areas of development. The following features are provided within Proprioceptive Power-Ups: Comprehensive theoretical underpinning (neurobiology of proprioception, tripartite circuit architecture, integration within an MTSS Tier 1-3 model) 10 student workbook worksheets with fill-in-the-blank self-reflection and data tracking to complete before beginning a new series of Power-Ups. Age-divided choice board usages for example K-2 use an imagination engine; 3-5 uses a mission protocol; 6-8 uses biometric optimization. Full-color diagrams, schematics include but are not limited to: Neurological Processing Pathway; 3-Phase Sensory Circuit; Gamification Mechanics Matrix. Examples of IEP goals, tools for collecting data, and case studies demonstrating an overall reduction of 60-78% in both elopement and disruption of classroom activities as compared to pre-Proprioceptive Power-Ups implementation. Instant digital download of entire resource, no preparation required! Proprioceptive Power-Ups are ideal for teachers, occupational therapy specialists (OT), physical therapy specialists (PT), special education teachers/special instructors, and parents who are serving students with or without ADHD, developmental coordination disorder (DCD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), or other classroom sensory processing disorder(s). Why Schools & Parents Are So Happy About It 1. Effectively Calms & Focuses Students: With instant self-regulation through 3–5 minutes of gamified “heavy work” activities, elopement, meltdown, and verbal disruptions have been reduced by as much as 78% in real case study examples. 2. Zero Lesson Prep but Maximum Engagement for the Students: Therapy is turned into play, through Choice Boards and avatar style Power-Ups - giving students choice and control, and saving teachers time while providing maximum engagement for the students in busy classroom settings and for kids on their IEP. 3. Evidence Based and Measured Progress: Easy access to the “whole brain” theory of neuroscience with pre/post data tracking tools and IEP goal templates providing easy documentation of progress to parents and administrators. 4. Age Appropriate From K to 8th Grade: There are differentiated stations and language to keep even the youngest kids excited about (and the oldest kids “cool” about) participating in activities in the same room without being segregated by age. 5. Proven Return On Investment: High impact proprioceptive input (replacing ineffective fidgety tools) will continue to improve time on task, enhance writing skills, and improve working/executive function without the need to sacrifice time during instruction. Target Students and Grade Levels: The resource is geared toward kindergarten through 8th grade (K-8) students. The children that will benefit from this program demonstrate an under-stimulated or dysregulated proprioceptive and vestibular system, including: Sensory Seekers (i.e., crashing, chewing, and pressing too hard); Sensory Under-Responders (i.e., lethargic, floppy, and having low muscle tone); Students with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) - Combined Type; Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD); Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD); Dyspraxia .A general education classroom using a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) Tier 1 (i.e., universal brain breaks), Tier 2 (i.e., targeted small groups), and Tier 3 (i.e., Individualized Education Plan-specific on Circuit) will also utilize the program as needed. There is built-in scaffolding provided within the program through the following: narrative/imaginative play for grades K-2; challenge-based missions for grades 3-5; and more mature "biometric optimization" language for middle school (grades 6-8) to assist in securing the dignity of the adolescent population. Biology Binder Covers – Templates for Classroom Use Organize your biology handouts, notes, and units with visual clarity Simple and flexible templates to help organize your biology materials In my biology classes, it can be a challenge to keep things organized - especially when it comes to multiple units, lab notes, worksheets and review materials. To make it easier for my students and myself, I designed these simple binder sleeves. There are 12 different pages. The covers have a clean, colorful blob layout that is friendly but not distracting. I usually print them out and use them as cover sheets or as dividers in folders for students or teachers. They also work well for digital learning environments, e.g. as section covers in PDF files or on classroom platforms. I like that the color scheme allows students to quickly find what they are looking for, and it brings a little more structure to a subject that is often riddled with formulas and technical terms. When used as cover sheets, students can choose their favorite color for their cover sheet. This resource is handy - and has saved me a lot of time in lesson preparation and follow-up. What’s included: 12 biology-themed cover pages different colors zu choose as a cover sheet as a divider between the individual biology topics I've printed these on colored paper for my own binder and also used them digitally in student notebooks. Works well for both teacher organization and student-facing materials. 📍 Best wishes, Heike from Lernfitness Biology teacher (Chemistry teacher, Math teacher) in Germany Did You Know? I teach with a certified therapy dog, and together we create a positive and inspiring learning environment. 🐶✨
