Task Cards set is a versatile educational tool designed to meet the varied teaching needs of Grade 5 to Grade 7 students. It includes a total of 36 task cards crafted with exercises that simplify the understanding of the differences between expressions and equations in mathematics. English Language Arts Bell Ringers Unit 4 - 45 Warm-Ups (Grades 6-8)
Formal Writing, Writing, ELA, Creative Writing, Grade 6, 7, 8, Worksheets, Worksheets & Printables
These English language arts bell-ringers give middle schoolers a calm, consistent way to begin class. Unit 4 gathers 45 short prompts on Writing and Language, arranged as nine weekly pages a teacher can hand out each Monday and collect on Friday. Each day asks something different - a term or academic word used in context, a few sentences to read and answer, a short analysis task, a quick check, and a question that asks students to make a claim and back it with evidence. The variety keeps the routine from going stale while still reinforcing sentence combining and variety, precise words and strong verbs, paragraph structure, narrative detail and dialogue, argument writing with claims and counterclaims, informative writing, revision moves, and editing and proofreading. Every reading passage in the set is original writing, so there is no third-party text to clear. Everything is print-first: a clean PDF that copies well, uses little ink, and needs no accounts or devices. A full answer key and a standards page listing the Common Core codes the prompts actually exercise are included, so planning and grading stay quick. Designed for grades 6-8, the prompts work as a daily opener, a spiral review, or a settle-in task while attendance is taken. The routine is the point: the same five-minute opener every day, so students settle without being asked twice. It prints cleanly in black and white, which keeps a full class set cheap to photocopy. Each page stands alone, so a substitute can hand out the week without any briefing. The answer key makes grading quick, whether you collect the pages or review them together as a class. It works in person, hybrid, or remote, and fits a homeschool schedule just as well as a full classroom. No logins, accounts, or devices are required — just the printable PDF.

26 ABC Coloring Pages
Special Resources, ELA, Special Education Needs (SEN), Speech Therapy, Language Development, Pre-Reading, ESL, Phonics, Kindergarten, Preschool, Worksheets & Printables, Worksheets
Here is a fun pack of 26 Alphabet Coloring Pages: Color the Alphabet and Learn Beginning or Initial Sounds! This teaching resource includes 26 coloring worksheets designed to help young children (or those with a special need) become familiar with the letters of the alphabet and the sounds they stand for—the beginning sounds. Each page focuses on one alphabet letter: the children colour the large letter at the top of the page and say the 'etter's sound. Then, they must look for things that begin with that sound and color them. A challenge to make the sheets more beneficial: For every sound except 'A', every page contains a picture of one object that begins with the previous sound in the alphabet. Can the pupil find it? This ensures that the work is systematic and provides revision. Teaching tips: Pupils need to learn to hear the beginning sound of words, not just learn the sounds made by the letters. To this end: Help the child, if necessary, by emphasising the beginning sound: you can hold onto it until to help the child hear it. Do help the child to extend each worksheet by looking for things around the classroom that begin with each sound as it is studied. Helping to develop pencil control Coloring is not just a pastime but can be a help to train the child to work neatly (can sh/e color between the lines?) as well as to develop pencil control. Who are these sheets for? Homeeducators/homeschoolers early learners, Those with a special need, parents as well as private tutors Speech and language therapists Teachers of ESL/EFL Suitable for homelearning/extra practice at home It is suggested that an adult work with the child while the sheet is completed, either in small groups or individually, for best effect. What is included in the 26 ABC Coloring Pages? 1 PDF A4 with 26 pages, one for each letter. They are grouped in alphabetical order If you do not teach the letter sounds in alphabetical order, please ensure that all sounds needed to complete a sheet have been introduced to the child to avoid failure.
