These interactive notebook pages for the alphabet work great inside a composition notebook or a spiral notebook. Students will be able to work with letter sounds and identification as well as handwriting practice. What is included for each letter? Each letter has a 1 page template for creating two notebooking pages. I know the letter [letter name] header for page 1. Capital and lowercase letter identification cards. I can find things that start with the letter [letter name] header for page 2 where students will look through magazines or other printed material to find pictures of things that begin with the letter. I can find the letter tab where students look through magazines or other printed material to find examples of the letter. Letter stickers or stamps can also be used in this section. I can write tab where students will practice writing the letter. At the end of the product are writing lines included if you want to write on primary lines. How to Use: To use these notebook pages, students will cut along the dotted lines to separate the different features. The students will glue the "I know the letter" section to the top of the left hand page and will glue the "I can fine things that start with" the letter on the right hand page. The capital letter and lowercase letter cards should go directly under the "I know the letter" header. The "I can find" and "I can write" flaps should go under the capital and lowercase letter cards, making sure to only put glue on the backside where the solid line is located. Students will look through magazines or other printed material to find examples of the letter in print as well as pictures that begin with the letter to glue in the appropriate locations. Here is a simple, fun, print n' play phonic game to help children learn the split digraph a-e. Your pupils will learn in no time with this easy-to-play game! This is a game for 2 players. The pack included both colour and black and white versions. Laminate the colour version for durability and sen the black and white version home for extra practice. Who can use the a-e phonic Game? Teachers, Parents home-educators Private Tutors Anyone who needs it! Aim of the game: ·To demonstrate how the short vowel sound /a/ changes when ‘e’ is added to make /ae/. ·To give the child plenty of practice recognising the difference between /a/ words and /ae/ words. How to play: Place the picture/word cards in a pile and put the ‘e’ cards neatly on the table. Players take turns to take a spot card from the feely bag. A green spot means that the player should take the topmost picture/word card from the pile and place it in front of him/her. S/he must then decide (by reading the word, sounding out if necessary) whether or not this word requires an ‘e’ or not to change the /a/ to /ae/. If needed the ‘e’ should be added and the card set aside by the player. If not, the word should be placed likewise. Should a red spot be picked, the player must miss a turn. The winner is the player with the most completed cards when al the cards have been used up. Should a player add an ‘e’ when it is not needed, or fail to add one when it is needed should/would/could lose the card, should the teacher deem it helpful to the child. In some cases, the teacher may allow the child help and let the child keep the card once corrected. This is at the teacher's discretion bearing in mind the needs of each child. Teaching tips: This game provides the opportunity for the pupil and teacher to see just where there are problems - listen out for the ‘messages’ in a pupil’s hesitation, his/her misreading of a word so that it does not describe the picture, or thoughtlessness in studying the word and picture carefully to decide about the need, or not, of the ‘e’. These are all indicators of understanding. discipline is required too as the pupil realises that letters in words and spelling are important. For many pupils, this is a new discovery. ‘Look what you have done to ‘hat’! You have changed it into ‘hate’ by putting ‘e’ on the end! This states the problem and for many pupils is the key to sorting out whether an ‘e’ is needed or not. Included: 1 PDF file with 1 game in both colour and black and white.

If you're looking for a fun and entertaining bible craft to make with kids for Easter, this wheel spinner craft will be a hit. It makes a great addition to the Easter Sunday School Lesson. You can also print the template out and give them to kids to try the craft at home on their own. Kids will color the cover wheel and the story wheel that comes with 5 images. They will attach the wheels together with a paper fastener. Kids will spin the wheel and tell the story of Easter on their own. You can choose between the titled and the untitled cover wheel. The latter is for you to add your own words to the spinner or write them in a different language. You have the option to print one wheel per page (bigger wheels) or two wheels per page (smaller wheels). This Easter craft is great for preschoolers, kindergarteners and elementary school-aged children. This product is a PDF that you will have to print on white paper.
