Physical Education Fitness Journey 4 Week Challenge
P.E. & Health, Physical Education, Not Grade Specific, Activities
This is a Physical Education Fitness Journey 4-Week Challenge that can be utilized at any time with any set of learners. Participants will be setting 1+ fitness goals for themselves that are attainable in their 50-minute physical education period.Goals can be cardio/aerobic, strength/resistance training, or flexibility/balance training. Depending on the exercises that students choose to focus on, they may have to set more or less goals. For example, if they choose a Cardio Goal such as jogging consecutively for 30 minutes at a time, without a break, that will take up the entire gym period. However, if they choose a Strength Goal such as 10 consecutive push-ups without a break, that may only take up 5-10 minutes of their gym period. This editable presentation will teach students about goal setting and give them slides to write down their goals. This Physical Education Fitness Journey is accompanied with journal pages for students to reflect on the goals they have set and how they feel they tackled that goal. I hope you enjoy!
