Charades is a great game to help children improve social skills such as noticing other’s body language, noticing other’s facial expressions, self-regulation, good sportsmanship, and teamwork, just to name a few! Some children need a lot of practice to learn or improve these skills. This Back-To-School charades game is a ton of fun to play around the beginning of the school year and will have your children working on these skills without even realizing it! Play Back-To-School charades as you normally would play charades. One student picks a card {I like to put them in an empty shoebox}, acts out the item on the card, other students try to guess what it is. Have Fun!
