Multiplication Facts: Number Sense Posters: How many ways can you represent a value? o This open-ended activity is a great way for students to stretch their thinking, develop number sense, connect the math concepts they have recently learned, and strengthen their multiplication facts. o It is easily differentiated: assign simpler values (12, 20) to students with emerging understanding and more difficult values (56, 80, 144) to students who need a challenge. o The completed posters make a fabulous art walk, a bright bulletin board display, or a meaningful piece for student portfolios/parent conferences. o This product includes a sample poster that you can show your students step-by-step and 20 different posters for you to print for your students. How to Use: Show your students the instructions: Each of you will be assigned a number.
