Common Core, ELA, Math, Grade 2, Teacher Tools, Assessments
This is a list of all common core ELA and math standards for grade 2, organized by topic and month of the year (in the order that I personally teach). There are columns for the fall, winter, and spring to track students' progress. You can also share the assessment sheets with parents during conferences. You can mark each skill as "Not Yet Present", "Emerging", "Developing", or "Mastered"There are also the words GLOWSand GROWS at the top of the assessment. After printing you can highlight "glows" in yellow" and "grows" in green. Then you can highlight each student's biggest glow/s (areas of strength or mastery) and grow/s (areas that still need work) on the list of skills. This document is ten pages long. I print one copy for each student, and also a copy for myself to keep track of the skills I am teaching/have taught. It's very useful for report card time; you can easily tell how each student is doing in each area of learning. This is a PDF file. This product pairs with my math and language arts assessments for grade 2, entitled "Common Core-Aligned, Year-Long Grade 2 ELA & Math Assessment Tests".

3rd Grade Math Review for Addition and Subtraction
Math, Addition and Subtraction, Addition, Subtraction, Grade 3, 4, Teacher Tools, Assessments, Activities, Worksheets & Printables, Worksheets
This product is perfect for 3rd grade math standards review. It's a worksheet where students review addition and subtraction within 1000. It also has students practice subtracting across zeros. While it was created for the 3rd grade standard of writing, 3.NBT.2, it would be a great review for 4th graders before you begin greater addition and subtraction. I've set these worksheets up so students have room to show their work. The numbers are all lined up nicely, and each place is its own box. I know that when students are learning to subtract across zeros, they need a lot of room to work with. These 3 worksheets would work well for independent practice, review later in the year, or even as an assessment. 3rd Grade Math Review for Rounding
Math, Numbers, Grade 3, 4, Teacher Tools, Assessments, Activities, Worksheets & Printables, Worksheets
This product is perfect for 3rd grade math standards review. It's a worksheet where students review place and value of a digit in a number, as well as rounding to the nearest 10 and 100. While it was created for the 3rd grade standard of writing, 3.NBT.1, it would be a great review for 4th graders before you begin greater rounding of numbers. I find when I teach rounding that a few students understand the concept right away. Several don't. The ones who don't, usually need a visual. This worksheet has students look at two number lines. One is looking at rounding to the nearest 10. The other is looking at rounding to the nearest 100. Having this visual, and having students underline, circle, and color which numbers round up or down, will help your struggling students. Since this is just one worksheet, it would be perfect for review, or even an assessment.
