Practice salving time word problems with an analog clock with these telling time word problem worksheets. Students will get to practice solving word problems to record the correct time, find the lapsed time that occurred, and work with the concepts of AM and PM. What is Included: There is a definitions reference page for different time concepts and vocabulary. There are two worksheets where students will practice reading time words like half past, quarter past, and quarter to and draw lines to the matching clock. There are two worksheets where students will practice determining if events happened in the AM or PM time frames. There are four worksheets where students will read word problems and solve them using lapsed time concepts or general math skills related to telling time. The clean, simple nature of these worksheets will allow students to practice telling time with word problems without extra distractions. The reference page provides students will a way to look back to if they find their assignment confusing, or if they need further reference to solve one of the problems. The worksheets are broken apart according to skill, making them easily differentiated. Some are for telling time to the hour, some for telling time to the half hour, and some for every 5 minutes or every minute. When to Use: Morning Work - These worksheets make a great addition to your morning work routine while students are practicing telling time through word problems. Homework - These worksheets are an easy way to give extra practice for students to work on at home with their parents. Independent Work - These worksheets are great independent practice for students to complete within the classroom.
