Social Media Safety word search, scramble and crossword puzzle

Social Media Safety word search, scramble and crossword puzzle
Holiday & Seasonal, ELA, Reading, Language Development, Vocabulary, Kindergarten, Grade 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, Word Searches, Worksheets, Worksheets & Printables, Crosswords Puzzles

Social Media Safety word search, scramble and crossword puzzle I made this social media safety puzzle set for my 4th and 5th graders during our digital citizenship unit. The kids used apps and games but had no idea what words like private, share, or block meant when we talked about staying safe on social media. So I put together a word search, a word scramble, and a crossword using words like social media, private, share, post, comment, friend, block, report, kind, safe, and think. Nothing fancy — just puzzles to help the social media safety vocabulary finally stick. The PDF is four pages. Three puzzles plus one answer key page. The word search works well for quiet time after recess or indoor recess. The scramble gets them talking because they argue about whether you should accept friend requests from people you don't know. The crossword I use for partners or as a review. I added a couple simple phone, speech bubble, and lock drawings but nothing too busy. Works for 4th through 5th grade. Print and go. Sometimes I have early finishers write one rule for staying safe on social media on the back. The kids actually ask for these now.

French Travel Vocabulary word search, scramble and crossword puzzle I made this French travel vocabulary puzzle set for my 3rd and 4th graders during our French unit. The kids could name travel words in English but had no idea what words like voyage, hôtel, or train meant when we started learning French travel vocabulary. So I put together a word search, a word scramble, and a crossword using words like voyage, hôtel, train, avion, voiture, bus, bateau, ticket, valise, carte, passeport, and vacances. Nothing fancy — just puzzles to help the French travel vocabulary finally stick. The PDF is four pages. Three puzzles plus one answer key page. The word search works well for quiet time after recess or indoor recess. The scramble gets them talking because they argue about whether "vacances" is vacation or holidays. The crossword I use for partners or as a review. I added a couple simple suitcase, airplane, and passport drawings but nothing too busy. Works for 3rd through 5th grade. Print and go. Grade 6 Argumentative Writing word search, scramble and crossword puzz

Grade 6 Argumentative Writing word search, scramble and crossword puzz
Holiday & Seasonal, ELA, Reading, Language Development, Vocabulary, Not Grade Specific, Word Searches, Worksheets, Worksheets & Printables

Grade 6 Argumentative Writing word search, scramble and crossword puzzle I made this argumentative writing puzzle set for my 6th graders during our writing unit. The kids could state a position but had no idea what words like claim, counterargument, or rebuttal meant when we started learning how to write an argument essay. They also kept mixing up "argument" and "persuasion." So I put together a word search, a word scramble, and a crossword using words like claim, evidence, reasoning, counterargument, rebuttal, audience, thesis, support, conclusion, fact, opinion, and call to action . I also threw in a few like "credible" and "source" because they kept coming up when we talked about finding good evidence . Nothing fancy — just puzzles to help the vocabulary finally stick. The PDF is four pages. Three puzzles plus one answer key page. The word search works well for quiet time after recess or independent practice. The scramble gets them talking because they argue about the spelling of "counterargument" (it's a tricky one) or whether a claim is the same as an opinion (it's not—they always have opinions about it) . The crossword I use for partners or as a review, and I usually have an argumentative writing anchor chart nearby for the kids who need the visual support to see the structure of an argument . I added a couple simple speech bubble and scale drawings but nothing too busy. Works for 6th through 7th grade. Print and go. Sometimes I have early finishers write a claim about a school topic and one reason to support it on the back. The kids actually ask for these now.

Wear Pajamas to Work Day word Scramble puzzle worksheet activity Pajama Day Word Scramble – Cozy Classroom Fun! I made this word scramble for our school's annual Pajama Day last year. My 3rd graders loved unscrambling these 24 sleepwear-themed words while wearing their favorite PJs to class. It's a simple 2-page PDF that kept them engaged during our relaxed schedule. You'll find: • Page 1: The scramble with comfy words like "slippers," "blanket," and "pillow" • Page 2: An easy answer key for busy teachers I included words we actually use on Pajama Day - from "sleepy" to "flannel" to "dream." The kids especially laughed trying to unscramble "snore"! Difficulty ranges from simple ("sock") to tricky ("nightgown"). Perfect for: • School spirit days • Morning work in cozy classrooms • Transition activities before holiday breaks Format: No-frills PDF (2 pages) Teacher Tip: Have students act out words they unscramble - the "yawn" demonstrations were hilarious!
