In this assignment, students are asked to generate interview questions to ask various historical figures from Class X.Org (on Google search "Class X historical figures" to find the page). The webpage Class X includes a list of prominent figures for interview-style educational activities . Some of the figures mentioned include Abraham Lincoln, Albert Einstein, Bill Gates, Adolf Hitler, Cleopatra, Confucius, and many, many others. Each figure is briefly described, and students are encouraged to "interview" them to learn about their lives and achievements - additionally, each figure includes a short biography of accomplishments and history. The list covers a wide range of historical periods and cultures. Students are first introduced to what makes a good interview question and then they are taken through the steps to select 3 historical figures to interview. This resource is an Atoms Bingo Game. Atoms and the Periodic Table Bingo will help your students review topics and terms that they have learned throughout their Atoms and the Periodic Table unit . This game is played like any other Bingo game where students must get five in a row to achieve BINGO. The Bingo can be horizontal, vertical, or diagonal. It is recommended that you print and cut out the bingo cards, and then laminate each one for repeated use. Students can then use a dry or wet erase marker to mark the card, allowing for easy clean-up. To play the game, the teacher will read the definition and students must mark the corresponding term on their card. When a students shouts BINGO, make sure you have them read their words out loud so that the correct terms were marked. It is possible that they will think they have a BINGO when they really marked the wrong term. This game could be used to review topics, as a time filler at the end of class, or as sub plans for a guest teacher.

You are purchasing a Document Based Activity (GOOGLE and Traditional versions provided) that uses the Inquiry Approach Lesson Strategy. This activity is on the topic of Life in the Middle Ages, specifically focusing on the question: How did the growth of towns, and an economy based upon trade and commerce, impact daily life during the Middle Ages? What was daily life like for people that lived during this time period? In the Inquiry Based (or Mystery Strategy) approach students are confronted with a historical puzzle or FOCUS question to consider and they are also given historical evidence (excerpts from primary sources, photographs, charts, graphs etc.) that they use to solve the puzzle or answer the FOCUS question. Students start by expressing their own curiosity about the topic, then they explore, ask questions, and investigate for answers. While working with the “clues” that you give them, students build their knowledge, continue to ask questions and search for answers, until they are able to draw conclusions about the puzzle or topic presented. In this activity , your students will: 1) Read a short Warm-up Reading and label a creative foldable on the unique Social Structure of the Middle Ages. 2) Work in small groups or pairs to analyze 7 pictures of Medieval Life.
