This is a timely assessment on lunar knowledge. We are back to traveling to our natural satellite. It has been a long time. We are promoting more knowledge insofar as the dark side of the moon is concerned. There is much to learn about the Moon! This assessment covers important facts. Use this assessment as a supplemental activity in a unit on the solar system. Use it as a take home test for additional knowledge on our solar system. Moreover, students might be interested in learning about our natural satellite as we are considering building a colony on the Moon. There are many adjustments to be made for humans living on the moon, and an overall assessment of the moon's properties are crucial to human survival. The gravity quotient is also as key to overcoming man's walking ability on the Moon! The Moon's gravity is only about 1/6th of Earth.
