So I put together a word search, a word scramble, and a crossword using words like salmon, trout, catfish, guppy, bass, minnow, pike, and goldfish. Nothing fancy — just puzzles to keep them thinking without complaining. The PDF is four pages. Three puzzles plus one answer key page. The word search is great for quiet time after recess. The scramble gets them talking because they mix up letters on longer words. The crossword I save for partners. I added a couple simple fish and water ripple drawings but nothing too distracting.
