Entrepreneurship for Kids word search, scramble and crossword puzzle
Holiday & Seasonal, ELA, Reading, Language Development, Vocabulary, Not Grade Specific, Word Searches, Worksheets, Worksheets & Printables
Entrepreneurship for Kids word search, scramble and crossword puzzle I made this entrepreneurship for kids puzzle set for my 4th graders during our career exploration and economics unit. The kids loved the idea of starting their own business, but they had no idea what words like entrepreneur, profit, or idea meant when we started talking about what it actually takes to create a business. So I put together a word search, a word scramble, and a crossword using words like entrepreneur, idea, profit, customer, product, service, business, plan, money, and goal . I also included a few like "risk" and "passion" because they kept coming up in our class discussions about what makes a good entrepreneur . Nothing fancy — just puzzles to help the vocabulary finally stick. The PDF is four pages. Three puzzles plus one answer key page. The word search works well for quiet time after recess, and the scramble gets them talking because they argue about the spelling of "entrepreneur" (it's a tricky one) or whether an idea and a plan are the same thing (they're not—they always have opinions about it) . The crossword I use for partners or as a review, and I usually have a simple business plan template nearby for the kids who need the visual support to see how the terms are connected . I added a couple simple lightbulb, dollar sign, and handshake drawings but nothing too busy. Works for 4th through 6th grade. Print and go. Sometimes I have early finishers write one business idea they would like to start on the back. The kids actually ask for these now.

The Lewis and Clark Expedition word search, scramble and crossword puzzle I made this Lewis and Clark expedition puzzle set for my 3rd and 4th graders during our westward expansion unit. The kids had heard of the two explorers but had no idea why they traveled west or who helped them along the way. So I put together a word search, a word scramble, and a crossword using words like Lewis, Clark, expedition, explore, westward, Louisiana Purchase, Jefferson, Sacagawea, interpreter, guide, river, Missouri, Pacific, map, and discovery. Nothing fancy — just puzzles to help the story finally stick. The PDF is four pages. Three puzzles plus one answer key page. The word search works well for quiet time after recess. The scramble gets them talking because they argue about whether Sacagawea was an explorer or a guide. The crossword I use for partners. I added a couple simple canoe and compass drawings but nothing too busy. Works for 3rd through 5th grade. Print and go. Sometimes I have early finishers write one fact about Sacagawea on the back. The kids actually ask for these now.

Biography of a Mathematician word search, scramble and crossword puzzle I made this biography of a mathematician puzzle set for my 3rd and 4th graders during our math and history unit. The kids could name a few mathematicians but had no idea what words like equation, formula, or discovery meant when we read about their lives. So I put together a word search, a word scramble, and a crossword using words like mathematician, equation, formula, discovery, solve, theorem, calculate, number, pattern, and proof. Nothing fancy — just puzzles to help the mathematician biography vocabulary finally stick. The PDF is four pages. Three puzzles plus one answer key page. The word search works well for quiet time after recess or indoor recess. The scramble gets them talking because they argue about whether a theorem is the same as a theory. The crossword I use for partners or as a review. I added a couple simple pi symbol, calculator, and math equations drawings but nothing too busy. Works for 3rd through 5th grade. Print and go. Grade 2 Money Math word search, scramble and crossword puzzle
Holiday & Seasonal, ELA, Reading, Language Development, Vocabulary, Not Grade Specific, Word Searches, Worksheets, Worksheets & Printables
Grade 2 Money Math word search, scramble and crossword puzzle I made this money math puzzle set for my 2nd graders during our math unit. The kids could identify pennies and nickels, but they had no idea what words like dime, quarter, or dollar meant when we started counting mixed coins and making change. They also kept mixing up the value of a dime and a nickel because the dime is smaller but worth more. So I put together a word search, a word scramble, and a crossword using words like penny, nickel, dime, quarter, dollar, cent, value, count, and change . I also threw in a few like "spend," "save," and "buy" because they kept coming up when we talked about what money is for . Nothing fancy — just puzzles to help the vocabulary finally stick. The PDF is four pages. Three puzzles plus one answer key page. The word search works well for quiet time after recess or independent practice. The scramble gets them talking because they argue about the spelling of "quarter" or whether a dime is worth more than a nickel (it is, but the kids always have opinions about it) . The crossword I use for partners or as a review, and I usually have real coins or a coin chart nearby for the kids who need the visual support to see the size and value differences . I added a couple simple penny, nickel, dime, and quarter drawings but nothing too busy. Works for 2nd through 3rd grade. Print and go. Sometimes I have early finishers draw three ways to make 25 cents on the back. The kids actually ask for these now.

Good Friday word Scramble puzzle worksheet
Holiday & Seasonal, ELA, Reading, Language Development, Vocabulary, Not Grade Specific, Word Searches, Worksheets, Worksheets & Printables
Good Friday word Scramble puzzle worksheet activity Good Friday Word Scramble - Meaningful Holiday Activity I made this word scramble for my Sunday School class last year when I needed a simple but thoughtful Good Friday activity. It's a basic 2-page PDF with 24 scrambled terms related to the Easter story - words like "cross," "sacrifice," and "Jerusalem" that kids hear during Holy Week services. The words range from familiar ("prayer") to more challenging ("resurrection") to work for different ages. I printed them on cream paper to keep the solemn tone of Good Friday, and the children worked on them quietly before our Tenebrae service. You'll get: • Page 1: The scramble with clear, large-print words • Page 2: Straightforward answer key I use this when: Teaching about Holy Week Needing a quiet reflection activity Preparing children for Easter services The words come straight from our church's Passion reading - "disciple," "betrayal," "tomb" - not just generic Easter terms. Last year, the word "forgiveness" led to a powerful discussion after the kids unscrambled it. Format: Simple PDF (2 pages) Tip: Have students underline the word that means most to them!

The puzzles proved effective in achieving this goal. The PDF document is four pages in length. It includes two puzzles for student use (a word search and a word scramble) and two answer keys. Visual elements are incorporated to enhance engagement without causing distraction. The graphics are designed to be appropriate for the target audience. ⭐ The students in the class find these items enjoyable. They work on them in groups during the morning session, or they are provided to students who complete their work early to occupy their time. The word search activity has also been utilized as a quiet activity following recess. The word scramble activity often initiates discussions, such as the correct form of the word "recycle." The preparation required is minimal. The materials are printed, distributed, and then the students begin the activity. Occasionally, students are instructed to highlight or circle their preferred word and use it in a sentence. This extends the activity beyond simple enjoyment and enhances its educational value.
