Trustworthiness Words word search, scramble and crossword puzzle I made this trustworthiness puzzle set for my 3rd and 4th graders during our social-emotional learning unit. The kids could say "you can trust me" but had no idea what words like trust, reliable, or honest meant when we talked about being someone others can count on. So I put together a word search, a word scramble, and a crossword using words like trust, trustworthy, reliable, honest, keep a secret, follow through, responsible, and dependable. Nothing fancy — just puzzles to help the trust vocabulary finally stick. The PDF is four pages. Three puzzles plus one answer key page. The word search works well for quiet time after recess or indoor recess. The scramble gets them talking because they argue about whether being trustworthy means you never make mistakes. The crossword I use for partners or as a review. I added a couple simple lock, handshake, and star drawings but nothing too busy. Works for 3rd through 5th grade. Print and go. Sometimes I have early finishers write one way they can show they are trustworthy on the back. The kids actually ask for these now.

These 6 St. Patrick's Day Paper Crafts are super easy to print and create with your students. This packet contains six different craft projects and writing templates to go along with it in case you want to extend the project. We hope these crafts will enhance your class's St. Patrick's Day celebrations and parties. They would also be fun to print and send home with students to do with families and friends in their free time. How to Use This: Print the specific crafts you want to use. Then supply all the necessary supplies such glue, scissors, and coloring materials. Assist your students as necessary but also let them have some St. Patrick's Day fun! What You Get: · Template for a pot of gold. · Design a shamrock. Students will add words, designs, pictures, and colors to make it unique. · Template for mix and match Leprechauns. Students will color all the leprechaun pieces they want to use. Then cut out all the pieces. Glue the pieces together to create their own unique leprechaun. They will probably have enough pieces to make several! · Design a gold coin. Students will add words, designs, pictures, and colors to make it unique. · Template for gold at the end of a rainbow. Students will color each piece and cut out. Then glue the cloud and pot of gold to the end of the rainbow. · Template for a 3D shamrock. Students will Color each of these pieces and cut them out. Snip down the indicated line on the leaf piece. Then fold on the dotted line. Pull the tabs together and glue or tape the tabs together to create a leaf with shape. Then arrange the four leaves with the points in the center. Attach together and then add the stem underneath. · 5 St. Patrick's Day writing templates for extended learning.

Baby Animals Vocabulary word search, scramble and crossword ⭐ I made this baby animals vocabulary pack for my 2nd and 3rd graders during our farm and wildlife unit. The kids kept mixing up foal and colt or calling every baby bird a chick. So I put together a word search, a word scramble, and a crossword using words like cub, calf, kit, pup, joey, tadpole, fry, and larva. Nothing too hard but enough to make them think. ⭐ The PDF is four pages. Three puzzles and one answer key page. The word search is for quiet time or early finishers. The scramble gets them arguing about whether a baby goat is called a kid or something else (it's kid). The crossword works better in pairs. I added a few small animal drawings but kept it clean so it prints nicely. ⭐ Works for 1st through 4th grade. Print and go. Sometimes I have them pick three baby animal names and write one fact for each on the back. Takes another ten minutes. The kids actually enjoy these.

High-Frequency Words Set 2 word search, scramble and crossword puzzle I made this high-frequency words puzzle set for my 1st and 2nd graders during our reading unit. The kids had mastered the first set of sight words but still needed practice with the next most common ones. So I put together a word search, a word scramble, and a crossword using words like would, could, should, every, over, think, walk, talk, because, through, thought, though, before, after, both, right, light, might, night, write, been, great, near, far, open, close, example, sentence, own, and world. Nothing fancy — just puzzles to help the next tier of high-frequency words finally stick. The PDF is four pages. Three puzzles plus one answer key page. The word search works well for quiet time after recess. The scramble gets them talking because they argue about how to spell "through" versus "thought." The crossword I use for partners. I added a couple simple star and notebook drawings but nothing too busy. Works for 1st through 3rd grade. Print and go. Sometimes I have early finishers pick one word and use it in a sentence on the back. The kids actually ask for these now.
