A maze of third-grade math review problems routes students from a "Ready, Set, Go!" starting box to the finish, where each correct answer points to the next problem to solve. Four different maze versions mix fraction identification on a number line, area and perimeter of rectangles and squares, elapsed-time and unit-conversion word problems, and multi-step word problems involving money, fundraisers, and division equations. Students record their path and show their work on a separate sheet stapled to the maze, and an answer key follows each of the four versions. Because the four mazes offer overlapping skills with different numbers and contexts, they can be assigned across a week or used to differentiate between students without reusing an identical problem set.
