Thanksgiving Coloring Pages - Thanksgiving Activities

Get ready for a gobble tastic adventure with Thanksgiving Coloring Pages! These five delightful pages are packed with all the things that make Thanksgiving the holiday we all love: happy turkeys, wobbly pilgrim hats, cornucopias that look suspiciously like they might spill veggies everywhere, and pumpkin pies that practically beg to be eaten (but please, don’t eat the paper). Each page is a masterpiece waiting for a splash of color, whether it’s a turkey with feathers of rainbow hues (because who said turkeys can’t be fabulous?) or a family of squirrels having their own mini-feast with acorns on the lawn. Your students will love adding their creative touch to these scenes, turning ordinary pictures into fridge worthy art that says, “I am thankful for coloring outside the lines.” The best part? There’s zero cleanup. No flour explosions, no stray cranberries rolling under the fridge just pure, mess-free coloring fun. Perfect for getting students in the Thanksgiving spirit without the drama of deciding who’s bringing the mashed potatoes. So grab those crayons, markers, or colored pencils, and let your students color their way to a happy Thanksgiving. Just watch out for the one kid who colors the turkey bright blue. You’ll need a story for that! Enjoy!

Animals That Hibernate word search, scramble and crossword

Animals That Hibernate word search, scramble and crossword
Holiday & Seasonal, ELA, Reading, Language Development, Vocabulary, Kindergarten, Word Searches, Worksheets, Worksheets & Printables, Crosswords Puzzles

Animals That Hibernate word search, scramble and crossword ⭐I made this hibernation puzzle set for my 2nd and 3rd graders during our winter animals unit. The kids kept asking why bears sleep all winter but had no idea other animals did it too. So I threw together a word search, a word scramble, and a crossword using words like bear, bat, hedgehog, turtle, snake, frog, den, and dormant. Nothing fancy — just puzzles to help the vocabulary stick. ⭐ The PDF is four pages. Three puzzles plus one answer key. The word search is good for quiet time after lunch. The scramble gets them talking because they argue over how to spell "hedgehog" or whether "groundhog" is one word or two. The crossword I save for partners. I added a few simple cave and sleepy animal drawings but nothing too busy. ⭐Works for 1st through 4th grade. Print and go. Sometimes I ask early finishers to circle which hibernating animal is their favorite and tell me why on the back. The kids actually like these.

State Capitals Northeast word search, scramble and crossword puzzle

State Capitals Northeast word search, scramble and crossword puzzle
Holiday & Seasonal, ELA, Reading, Language Development, Vocabulary, Not Grade Specific, Word Searches, Worksheets, Worksheets & Printables

State Capitals Northeast word search, scramble and crossword puzzle I made this Northeast states and capitals puzzle set for my 3rd and 4th graders during our geography unit. The kids could name a few states like New York and Massachusetts, but they had no idea what cities like Albany, Augusta, or Montpelier were, or that the smallest state capital in the country is Montpelier, Vermont . They also kept mixing up which capital belonged to which state, so I put together a word search, a word scramble, and a crossword using the 11 capitals of the Northeast region : Hartford (Connecticut), Dover (Delaware), Augusta (Maine), Annapolis (Maryland), Boston (Massachusetts), Concord (New Hampshire), Trenton (New Jersey), Albany (New York), Harrisburg (Pennsylvania), Providence (Rhode Island), and Montpelier (Vermont) . The PDF is four pages. Three puzzles plus one answer key page. The word search works well for quiet time after recess, and the scramble gets them talking because they argue about the spelling of "Harrisburg" (one R? two? they always debate it) or whether "Montpelier" sounds like it should be in France instead of Vermont. The crossword I use for partners or as a review after we've looked at a Northeast region map. I added a couple simple state outline and compass drawings but nothing too busy . Works for 3rd through 5th grade. Print and go. Sometimes I have early finishers pick one capital from the puzzles and write its state on the back, or try to find all 11 capitals on a classroom map. The kids actually ask for these now.

Natural Wonders of the World word search, scramble and crossword puzzl

Natural Wonders of the World word search, scramble and crossword puzzle I made this natural wonders of the world puzzle set for my 3rd and 4th graders during our geography unit. The kids were fascinated when I showed them pictures of the Grand Canyon and the Northern Lights, but they had no idea what words like "canyon," "reef," or "aurora" meant when we talked about how these incredible places were formed. So I put together a word search, a word scramble, and a crossword using some of the most amazing natural wonders on Earth: Grand Canyon, Great Barrier Reef, Northern Lights, Mount Everest, Victoria Falls, Paricutin, Harbor of Rio de Janeiro, Amazon Rainforest, Halong Bay, and Uluru . I also threw in a few key geography terms like "canyon," "reef," "volcano," and "monolith" because they came up in every discussion about how these places were formed. The PDF is four pages. Three puzzles plus one answer key page. The word search works well for quiet time after recess. The scramble gets them talking because they argue about the spelling of "Paricutin" or whether Uluru is in Australia or New Zealand. The crossword I use for partners or as a review after we've watched a few short video clips of these wonders. I added a couple simple canyon, reef, and volcano drawings but nothing too busy. Works for 3rd through 5th grade. Print and go. Sometimes I have early finishers pick one wonder from the puzzles and write one fact about it on the back. The kids actually ask for these now.

Holiday & Seasonal, ELA, Reading, Language Development, Vocabulary, Not Grade Specific, Word Searches, Worksheets, Worksheets & Printables

Future Careers in AI and Technology word search, scramble and crossword puzzle I made this future careers in AI and technology puzzle set for my 4th graders during our career exploration unit. The kids could name a few jobs like coder and gamer, but they had no idea about the incredible range of roles that already exist today—or what words like machine learning, algorithm, or ethics meant when we talked about how AI actually works. So I put together a word search, a word scramble, and a crossword using careers like Machine Learning Engineer, Data Scientist, AI Ethicist, Computer Vision Engineer, and Natural Language Processing (NLP) Engineer, plus key tech terms like algorithm, data, bias, transparency, and automation. The PDF is four pages. Three puzzles plus one answer key page. The word search works well for quiet time after recess, and the scramble gets them talking because they argue about the spelling of "algorithm" (it's a tricky one) or whether an AI Ethicist is a real job (it is—someone has to make sure AI is fair and not biased, and the kids always have opinions about it). The crossword I use for partners or as a review after we've watched a few short career videos. I added a couple simple robot, computer, and brain drawings but nothing too busy. Works for 3rd through 5th grade. Print and go. Sometimes I have early finishers pick one AI career from the puzzles and write what they do on the back. The kids actually ask for these now.

Informational Text Vocabulary word search, scramble and crossword puzz

Informational Text Vocabulary word search, scramble and crossword puzz
Holiday & Seasonal, ELA, Reading, Language Development, Vocabulary, Kindergarten, Grade 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, Word Searches, Worksheets, Worksheets & Printables, Crosswords Puzzles

Informational Text Vocabulary word search, scramble and crossword puzzle I made this informational text vocabulary puzzle set for my 3rd and 4th graders during our nonfiction reading unit. The kids could read facts but had no idea what words like text feature, heading, or caption meant when we talked about the parts of nonfiction books. So I put together a word search, a word scramble, and a crossword using words like text feature, heading, subheading, caption, diagram, label, photograph, table, map, and glossary. Nothing fancy — just puzzles to help the informational text vocabulary finally stick. The PDF is four pages. Three puzzles plus one answer key page. The word search works well for quiet time after recess or indoor recess. The scramble gets them talking because they argue about whether a caption goes above or below a photo. The crossword I use for partners or as a review. I added a couple simple book, magnifying glass, and globe drawings but nothing too busy. Works for 3rd through 5th grade. Print and go. Sometimes I have early finishers find a text feature in a nonfiction book and name it on the back. The kids actually ask for these now.
