Press the arrow for the letters to drop down. 10 letters with numbers ( number of words in the sequence ) appear at the top. Pressing any of these will start a sequence (pictures flashing) that upon finishing, students must repeat. Need a fun, engaging activity for practicing skip counting by 8 with your kiddos? This math bingo game is perfect for getting your students focused on skip counting in 8s! Preparation: Print and laminate enough Bingo Boards for each student to have one Optional: print, cut and laminate the Playing Squares Print, cut and laminate the Calling Cards. Lamination is optional, but recommended, as it will ensure that the game remains in good condition and can be used for many years to come! To avoid excessive printing and laminating, the Playing Squares could be replaced with other manipulatives such as buttons or counters. Alternatively, students could mark squares off on their Bingo Boards with dry erase markers and then simply clean the boards again after playing (provided that you have laminated the boards) How to Play: Each student needs a Bingo Board and at least 7 Playing Squares (or other manipulatives or a dry erase marker) Shuffle the Calling Cards and place them in a pile. Draw a Calling Card and call out and/or display the contents of the card. Each student looks on their Bingo Board for a block that matches the Calling Card. If they find one, they cover that block with a Playing Square. Draw a new Calling Card and repeat the process. The game continues until somebody wins. To win, a student must shout out “BINGO!” when they have covered three blocks in a row (horizontally, vertically or diagonally). If the Calling Cards run out before anybody wins, simply shuffle them again and continue playing. Please note: Sometimes there may be more than one block on the Bingo Board that matches the Calling Card. The student may only cover one block on a turn. Once that turn is over, the Playing Square may not be moved to cover a different block. This resource includes 5 different bingo board, in colour as well as black and white. INTRODUCTION: As you know, didactic games are a great motivation to learn mathematics, so this time I have designed a fabulous puzzle game with numbers from 1 to 100, I hope you like this resource and can use it in the classroom. OBJECTIVES: -Strengthen the knowledge of numbers from 1 to 100 in children from 3 to 5 years old. -Make learning math fun. -Motivate students interest in mathematics. 3. ORDER, SCHEME AND STAGES: - Introduce your math class by posting a video related to the numbers from 1 to 100. - Hand out worksheets where the children visualize the numbers from 1 to 100. - Then hand out this didactic game, ask your students to work in groups of 2 or 3 to make the work easier. 4. GRADES OR AGES: This game is aimed at children from 5 to 8 years old. Which means that you can apply it with children from Kindergarten to the third year of primary school. APPLICATION FORMAT: It is suggested that you print this product for the number of students you have, then have the students do the activities that time will allow. They need to use scissors, glue and a wide work table. In addition to time to make the cuts and then carefully paste. 6. ANSWER KEYS: This didactic game does not require answers. 7. This is a Let's Talk About The Zoo Board English / English as a Second Language Game. All you have to do is print this game board and grab a pair of dice. The game board can be printed in color or black and white. This simple game board is great for your English-speaking students and your ESL students who are building their language skills in the English language. Students can work in pairs or groups of 3-4. You can also pull students in a small group with you to better assess their progress and mastery. These board games are great because they come in a variety of themes and topics, so students will be able to increase their vocabulary in a fun and playful way. You can choose to do a few different activities when you use these board games : 1.Students can take turns rolling the dice. They will move that many places on the board. Whatever space they land on, they can read the question out loud and answer it verbally with their partner or group. 2.Same as number 1, but the partner can answer the question instead of the person who rolled the dice. 3.Same as number 1, but both partners (or everybody in the group) can write their answer down on paper. 4.Same as number 1, but students can practice writing down the question and their individual answer to the question. If you choose to make it a competition, then whoever reaches the end of the board first wins! But in this series of games the main focus is not on winning but on talking and discussing topics! Playing the Game The question slide will begin with a clue and the amount of points available for guessing the correct word with this clue alone. Students can write/say their answers. Clicking the curved arrow on the right will make the next clue appear. This will have a lower points value but gives another clue for students to guess the word on. Again, press the curved arrow for the final clue. This is pretty much a a give away ie. you put this on your head, so students win at least five points on each round. Press the arrow for the answer. A pic will also appear but immediately become semi-transparent so you can still see the clues underneath if you wish to go through them. Press the square in the bottom right corner to go to the next page. Will be harder for early learners due to the amount of reading so you may have to read it out and help with some meanings. About the Game Practice reading key short A words and clues with this game. Words come up clearly so are easy to read, you may want to ask students to spell the word before revealing it. Teachers have complete control over the length of each slide as clues comes out one-by-one.
