Fall Numbers Memory Game Bring autumn fun into your math lessons! This set of fall-themed flashcards gives students repeated practice with numbers from 0 to 30 in a playful and flexible format. I first made these for my kindergarten class, when many of my students still needed support with recognizing numbers and putting them in the right order. The cards worked well because they could be used in so many different ways without having to prepare something new each time. There are 228 cards in total, divided into six full sets with different colored borders. The colors make it easy to keep groups organized, since each table can use a separate set without mixing the cards together. Each card shows a single number in a large, clear font, which helps beginning learners and also supports students who struggle with visual distractions. The cards can be used for memory or matching games, where students flip over two at a time and try to find pairs. Another favorite activity in my class has been sequencing: students work together to lay the cards out from 0 to 30. For more active lessons, we sometimes spread the cards on the floor and have students “walk” the numbers in order, which adds movement to the practice. I also use the cards as simple flashcards, holding them up for quick recognition drills, or handing one card to each student and asking the group to line up in numerical order. With partners, students have created their own math problems using the numbers they draw, which adds a layer of challenge for more advanced learners. Differentiation is built in, since you can choose how many numbers to include. With beginners, I usually work with 0–10. As students grow more confident, I extend to 0–20 and eventually the full 0–30. Adding a timer or encouraging students to say each number out loud when they play can make the activity even more engaging. Preparation is straightforward: print the set you want, cut the cards, and laminate if you plan to reuse them. I keep each set in small envelopes or bags so they are ready for math centers, group games, or quick warm-ups. The fall design adds a seasonal touch, but the number practice is useful all year long. In this resource, students will learn the differences between feeling grateful and disappointed. These two feelings are essentially opposite one another. The 28 slide Boom Deck has 3 educational/introduction cards and 25 task playing cards. There is audio on each card so no reading is required. This can be done as a whole class group whereas each student can take a turn coming up to a interactive board and deciding which situation is being presented. Then the directions for the deck ask students to think of things the person in the situation could be grateful for in a disappointing situation. There are many examples of disappointing situations such as; not being able to play a volleyball game because a coach is out of town, not being able to have outdoor recess, a volcano not erupting, having to do homework instead of play with friends, a dog ruining a pair of shoes, a teacher asking a student to rewrite a paragraph, a special art class is being canceled, and not getting to go on a roller coaster at an amusement park, among others. There is a handout to print off for each student and have them reflect on a time they were disappointed and now looking back, what were they grateful for in that situation. This is a great Boom Deck to do during Thanksgiving but also throughout the entire year. This is great for grades two, three, four, five, and six. In the "Sorting Non-Identical Fruit" activity , students will have the opportunity to improve their visual discrimination and categorization skills. My Unique Shape (Back to School & Get To Know You Activity)

In this product, you will combine graphing and SEL. This is the perfect back-to-school or get-to-know-you activity in any class-not just math! Students will receive a graphing page and a page with questions. Each question has a coordinate after it that the students plot on the graph. When the student is done plotting all the coordinates, they will draw a line to each coordinate and create a very unique shape. Some of the statements are; I like tacos, I have a pet, I have a sibling, I play a sport, I like sushi, I prefer outside to inside, I am an optimist, I like board games , my name has more than 5 letters, I have traveled outside the country, I speak more than one language, and I love gardening-among more. There are 20 statements. If a statement is not true for the student, they simply cross it off or skip to the next statement. This is a great resource for having students share and get to know each other, you will also get to know your students quite well from this activity. This would also be a great advisory activity at the beginning of the year. Another idea is to post these on a bulletin board afterward and admire the different unique shapes of your students. Students can also create an image from their shape if they wish-such as an animal, person, object, etc. One of the objectives of this resource is to allow students to reflect on their likes and dislikes and personality. The other objectives are for students to share commonalities and embrace differences. Lastly, you as the teacher will really get to know your students. This is fully editable so feel free to change the questions to your liking. You know your students best! You do not need to be a math teacher to use this resource! It's great for school counselors, specialists and advisory teachers as well.

Anxiety can be difficult for children to manage and express. This “Anxiety Bingo” game provides a unique outlet for kids to identify calming strategies that work for them when feelings of worry start to swell. With simple yet versatile bingo boards, it allows children to actively try different relaxation techniques to ease anxiety. The bingo boards have a standard 3x3 layout with 9 different soothing strategies listed, like taking deep breaths, getting a drink of water, hugging a stuffed animal, positive self talk, or writing down your feelings. Children can use the given calming strategies or they can make their own custom bingo board and write down things that help them feel better. Once the child tries a technique, they mark it off on their bingo board. The goal is to get 3 strategies in a row - just like regular bingo! This incentivizes them to keep practicing helpful skills. Having multiple boards on hand allows for replayability as well.
