Test your pupil's knowledge of common trees with this simple, fun Tree ID Activity. Introduction and objectives This simple puzzle, helps children to learn to recognize a tree by its leaf and fruit. The trees included on the more advanced puzzle are: Oak Ash Beech Horse Chestnut Sweet Chestnut Hazel Hawthorn And on the easier one: Oak Horse Chestnut Beech Hawthorn How to use this activity The tree activity can be used as part of a science lesson on comparing trees, or as an assessment after studying different trees and their fruits, possibly in autumn time. It can be successfully used alongside our Leaf Sorting Activity. It can follow a walk where the fruits of different trees are collected along with their leaves, in autumn, and the children can use books or other sources to help them to identify the leaves and fruit - as such it can be a learning activity rather than a puzzle. Children can either draw lines from each fruit to ots tree and then its leaf, or the sections can but cut out and stuck onto another sheet (provided). There are two levels of difficulty, one activity with seven trees and one with four. Choose the one most suitable for each child. Who can use the Tree ID Puzzle? It can be used in the home, by teachers and in the home-school. It can be blown up large and completed together by a class/group. It can be made into a centre activity by cutting out the individual words and pictures and allowing children to put the ones that go together next to each other. I suggest laminating the pieces to make them more durable. Answers provided.

I designed this PowerPoint game to turn standard vocabulary repetition into a hands-on challenge that keeps students focused and clicking. How the Interaction Works: This isn't a passive slideshow. It is a gamified loop that requires the student to make a choice to move forward: The Mission: On each slide, the student reads the target color name displayed on the tag at the bottom (e.g., "Red" or "Blue"). The Action: They must actively scan the pile of objects and click the correct matching yarn ball. The Instant Reward: This is the best part. If they click the right answer, the slide instantly transitions to a full-screen reveal of that color pattern. It gives immediate visual feedback that says, "Yes, you got it right!" 1. Introduction Nowadays, learning mathematics should be one of the most fun experiences for children, so it is important that teachers or parents devise materials or educational games for students or their own children to see mathematics as a useful and didactic tool. That is why on this occasion, I have developed this beautiful proposal to practice multiplication, with a dinosaur theme. 2.Objective. -To make students love mathematics. -To make students see that mathematics is a useful and fun tool. - To achieve that the students learn mathematics and in this case multiplication in a playful and didactic way. 3.Order, outline and stages - Introduce your art class with relaxing music. Next, invite the children to guess what activity is coming up. - Now tell your students that today they will reinforce the topic of multiplication in a playful and educational way. - Ask them to take out their pencils or markers. - Now hand out the worksheets and let the students or your children start solving. - If you want to make this activity more exciting, you can tell them that you will set a timer. 4.Grades or ages This game is designed for children from 7 to 10 years old, especially for children who have already learned multiplication and want to reinforce it. How to apply It is suggested that the teacher or parent, print 1 game for each student, because these activities will be done quickly and in a playful and fun way. Print these activities on an A4 sheet, in color and make sure you have color ink, since it requires a lot of color. Then staple the sheets together and hand them out to your students or children. You will only need these materials and that the students or children have a pencil or colored markers. 7. Need a fun, engaging activity for practicing skip counting by 3 with your kiddos? This math bingo game is perfect for getting your students focused on skip counting in 3s! Preparation: Print and laminate enough Bingo Boards for each student to have one Optional: print, cut and laminate the Playing Squares Print, cut and laminate the Calling Cards. Lamination is optional, but recommended, as it will ensure that the game remains in good condition and can be used for many years to come! To avoid excessive printing and laminating, the Playing Squares could be replaced with other manipulatives such as buttons or counters. Alternatively, students could mark squares off on their Bingo Boards with dry erase markers and then simply clean the boards again after playing (provided that you have laminated the boards) How to Play: Each student needs a Bingo Board and at least 7 Playing Squares (or other manipulatives or a dry erase marker) Shuffle the Calling Cards and place them in a pile. Draw a Calling Card and call out and/or display the contents of the card. Each student looks on their Bingo Board for a block that matches the Calling Card. If they find one, they cover that block with a Playing Square. Draw a new Calling Card and repeat the process. The game continues until somebody wins. To win, a student must shout out “BINGO!” when they have covered three blocks in a row (horizontally, vertically or diagonally). If the Calling Cards run out before anybody wins, simply shuffle them again and continue playing. Please note: Sometimes there may be more than one block on the Bingo Board that matches the Calling Card. The student may only cover one block on a turn. Once that turn is over, the Playing Square may not be moved to cover a different block. This resource includes 5 different bingo board, in colour as well as black and white. Number Bonds 1-30 Bingo - Boards 11-15

Need a fun, engaging activity for practicing number bonds to 30 with your kiddos? This math bingo game is perfect for getting your students focused on number bonds for numbers 1-30! Preparation: Print and laminate enough Bingo Boards for each student to have one Optional: print, cut and laminate the Playing Squares Print, cut and laminate the Calling Cards. Lamination is optional, but recommended, as it will ensure that the game remains in good condition and can be used for many years to come! To avoid excessive printing and laminating, the Playing Squares could be replaced with other manipulatives such as buttons or counters. Alternatively, students could mark squares off on their Bingo Boards with dry erase markers and then simply clean the boards again after playing (provided that you have laminated the boards) How to Play: Each student needs a Bingo Board and at least 7 Playing Squares (or other manipulatives or a dry erase marker) Shuffle the Calling Cards and place them in a pile. Draw a Calling Card and call out and/or display the contents of the card. Each student looks on their Bingo Board for a block that matches the Calling Card. If they find one, they cover that block with a Playing Square. Draw a new Calling Card and repeat the process. The game continues until somebody wins. To win, a student must shout out “BINGO!” when they have covered three blocks in a row (horizontally, vertically or diagonally). If the Calling Cards run out before anybody wins, simply shuffle them again and continue playing. Please note: Sometimes there may be more than one block on the Bingo Board that matches the Calling Card. The student may only cover one block on a turn. Once that turn is over, the Playing Square may not be moved to cover a different block. This resource includes 5 different bingo board, in colour as well as black and white.
