This activity is great for helping students with addition and subtraction. The Missing Number Addition and Subtraction Activity has students fill in the missing addends to complete the addition and subtraction number sentences.
Ten missing-number worksheets give students repeated practice completing short counting groups within 1–20. Each page arranges number clusters in six rows, with gaps for learners to fill. Use the surrounding numbers to model finding what comes before, after, or between, then assign selected pages for independent practice.
