This is a Buggy Addition Worksheet . It is 5-page printable for students to use. The first two pages both have numbers 1-10 at the top of the page. Each number is accompanied by a little bug with the corresponding number of dots. At the bottom of each of these pages is a blank addition template. Students will cut out the numbers 1-20 on page 5. The addition boards and the numbers should be laminated for repeated use. The cut-out numbers 1-10 can be placed in one baggie. The cut-out numbers 11-20 can be placed in another baggie. Students will pull two numbers from the 1-10 baggie and set it on the addition board. In order to find the answer, students can count the dots on the bugs to find the answer. They will pull the correct answer out of the other baggie. This makes a fun math center or small group activity. Pages 3 and 4 will give students handwriting practice for numbers 1-10. On one page, they will trace the number. On the next page, they will trace the name of the number. This will reinforce the spelling of numbers, so students can quickly identify number names. These two worksheets could also be laminated and used with a dry erase marker.
