Depending on the mat they are using, students will color, trace, cover, graph, or write the word or image that was rolled. More Ways to Use these Dice Games: For a single player game, students can use the tracing worksheets to trace the word or picture they rolled. They just need to be printed out and put in the center or station you wish to use them in. The dice will need to be assembled. You will need to print them out on card stock or other heavy weight paper, cut, fold and tape together. The mats can be laminated to make them reusable, especially of you need to save paper. Dry erase markers can be used on the writing and tracing mats.

We know that incorporating interests in our lessons can increase student engagement. There are many ways to incorporate animals into learning! This is an Animal Dominoes Game. There are 3 pages included. There are 10 dominoes on each page, so there are 30 dominoes in all. You will print these pages on card stock and laminate them for durability before cutting them out. Just like the classic game of dominoes, students will work to match up a pair of equal dominoes. This can be played in partners or in small groups of 3-4 students. A fun game to help your students learn and memorize the types and kinds of shells in the ocean. A perfect way to review and enjoy your Ocean Unit Study or study of shells. How to Use This Resource: Cut apart all the cards. Then lightly glue each back to a front. Run through a laminator and then cut apart each pieces. Lay pieces flat and upside down. Take turns with your students to turn over 2 at a time. When you find a match, you get to keep the match. When all the cards have been turned over and matched up, then the game is over. The winner is the one who has found the most matches. Not only do these cards feature seashell pictures, but they also have the corresponding word printed underneath each picture. They will get to work their brains to try and remember where they saw a certain image, but they will also be able to retrieve where they saw a certain word. This is great differentiation for young learners. They will love playing this memory game and ramping up the competition along the way. In this resource you will receive a very engaging and fun game played like Apples to Apples. There are 30 different emoji cards and 90 different person, place, thing, event cards. There is no reading required. Anyone over 5 can easily play this game. Directions: One person is the "judge" first. I usually choose the oldest in the group. The judge turns over one of the emoji cards. The other players choose one of their person, place, thing, event cards that best fits with that particular emoji. The judge then decides which one is best and the person who put down that card in the pile wins the emoji and also gets a point. The game continues as the next person clockwise is now the "judge". Each player needs to have 5 person, place, thing, event cards at all times. If they played a card, then on the next round they get another person, place, thing, event card. The discarded/used cards go back in the person, place, thing, event card pile to be replayed in future rounds. There are directions in this product. Uses: This game is great to play for indoor recess, centers , community building, etc. Because this is fully editable, you can choose which emojis you want and which person, place, thing, event cards you want. You can add or delete any of the pictures. You know your students best. I would recommend copying one set for each group of students playing. I also recommend using card stock and laminate for durability.
