Start the school year with conversations about summer experiences. Students circulate and ask classmates about the illustrated prompts on their Find Someone Who boards. The activities include reading a book, visiting family, playing outside, and learning a new skill, giving students everyday experiences to talk about as well as outings. Before students begin, model how to ask about a prompt and listen to a classmate’s answer.
