Partner with another student; read the sentence frame stating the inequality on the partner's card aloud with the correct comparison word (greater than/less than), while the partner checks the answer side; then swap roles, trade cards, and repeat.
Students plot their own ships' coordinates and take turns calling out coordinate pairs to try to 'sink' their opponent's ships on a coordinate grid, recording guesses as (x,y) pairs.
