What is Included: This resource includes 14 CVC word cards with their corresponding candy corn themed letter tiles. Each card features an image of a CVC word. Each image is bold, colorful, and easy to recognize. This allows students the ability to work independently to spell each CVC word. The CVC word cards also have spaces at the bottom of the card where they letter tiles can fit so students can spell the words. How to Use: Students will choose one CVC word card. They will look at the image then use the letter tile cards to spell the word. Where to Use: Literacy Centers - The cards can be placed in a literacy center for students to complete individually or with a partner. Small Group Activity - Teachers can work with small groups of students who need more practice with reading or spelling CVC words. Morning Tubs or Baskets - These cards make a great morning activity for students to complete while waiting on their classmates to arrive to class. These candy corn CVC cards are a fantastic way for students to spell CVC words. This low prep literacy center allows teachers to quickly create a useful resource for students to practice spelling simple words.
